It is very important to follow safety precautions when burning candles. Please make note of the following instructions: |
|
VOTIVES: Read and remove warning label from bottom of votive. Burn in a snug fitting container. Trim wick to a ¼”. Do NOT burn for more than 3 hours at a time or the glass will get to hot and possibly crack. Check your flame often and if need be extinguish and trim wick back to ¼’ before relighting. If wicks are not trimmed and flame is too high, it is very unsafe. Soy is soft and burns down more than out. Always burn votive in tight fitting HEAT RESISTANT container and on a HEAT RESISTANT surface. Do not burn votive to less than 1/4 inch from bottom of container. MELTS:To enjoy the scented soy melts simply put 1 individual wax melt OR 1 to 2 cubes of the breakaway melts in the top bowl of the electric warmer or tealight warmer. When you are ready to change scent simply pop old wax out and add a new one. Never leave on unattended or on while sleeping. Keep out of reach of pets, children and flammable objects. Do not eat. Wax can get very hot use caution when placing in your home. |
JARS: Allow your jar candles to burn until the wax pool reaches the sides of the container. About 2-3 hours, and no more than 3 hours at a time. If you don`t let your candle burn to the edges it will tunnel down the middle and the wick will drown. You will ruin your jar candles every time if you don`t let it burn to the edges. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4". Each time the melt pool reaches the edges, dip the wick into the melt pool to turn it off. Allow the wax to harden, trim the wick and relight. If the wax is not melting on one side, position the flame a little closer to the unmelted side, but not touching the glass container, about an inch away from the glass. Discontinue use when only 1/2" of wax remains at the bottom. |
